The Utility Planning and Projects Department oversees capital improvement
projects, water resource planning, groundwater, surface water and recycled
water initiatives, utility rates, and regional
partnerships.
Mission Statement
To protect and manage all water resources for the current and future needs
of the community and the environment.
Vision
Necessary water supplies, wastewater treatment capacity, storm water capacity,
and related utility infrastructure will be available to enhance the quality of
life and facilitate economic development for the region.
30-Year Goal
Our region will be the water resources hub for the northern and central San
Joaquin Valley area.
