Biography
Councilmember Joe Muratore is proud to serve the City in which he was born and
is committed to making sure that Modestans have the support they need from the
City Council to meet the challenges they face. Creating a more economically
vibrant community, enhancing public safety, planning for Modesto's future,
improving neighborhoods—these are the things that Joe is focused on. They form
the foundation of his work on behalf of our community and the reason why he
serves on the City Council.
A life-long resident, Joe has created, led, or participated in many local
groups and boards over the last decade that are focused on bettering Modesto.
Joe holds a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard University, a
Bachelors Degree from California State University, Stanislaus, an Associates
Degree from Modesto Junior College, and a diploma from Grace Davis High School.
Joe and his wife, Sandra, live in Modesto’s La Loma Neighborhood.
