New Hours for the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department Lobby

Effective Monday, December 1, the City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department’s Guest Services hours will change. The Guest Services lobby, located on the fourth floor of Tenth Street Place (1010 Tenth Street) Suite 4300, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Due to recent budget cuts, the Department is implementing a single customer service unit by condensing resources and operating hours.

The Customer Service Unit provides the following services to citizens:

• Registration for recreation classes and activities.
• Rental facility reservations.
• Leisure Bucks (financial assistance for low-income, disabled and senior citizens for recreation activities).
• Complaints of violations of local laws, ordinances, or codes and regulations related to the Modesto Municipal Code.

For registration of recreation classes and activities, there are other, very convenient ways to register:

1. Register through e-Connect: Allows participants to register from any computer.
   NOTE: You must have an e-mail address to obtain and e-Connect account. Go to  www.modestogov.com/econnect and enter the appropriate information for each household member. A Household Account PIN and separate barcode for each household member will be e-mailed to you within 1-3 working days.
2. Register by mail: Complete the registration form in the Activity Guide and mail the completed form with full payment to:

3. Register In-Person or by Drop-Off: Complete the registration form in the Activity Guide and bring in the completed form with full payment to the City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department office at 1010 Tenth Street, Suite 4300.
4. Register by Fax: Complete the registration form in the Activity Guide and fax the completed form with credit card information for full payment (Visa or MasterCard ONLY) to: (209) 342-4705.
