What's New in Modesto

City's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department Teams Up with Save Mart Supermarkets to Support Local Kids, Seniors and Parks

The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department is excited to announce that it is taking part in Save Mart Supermarkets’ Supporting Humanities, Arts, Recreation, Education & Sports (S.H.A.R.E.S.) Program. Participation is easy; simply request a FREE S.H.A.R.E.S. card through the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department and use it each time you go shopping for groceries.

When shopping at any Save Mart, Food Max, Lucky’s or S-Mart Foods, present your S.H.A.R.E.S. card at checkout and Save Mart will donate 3% of your grocery bill to help support local parks and recreational activities.


Action Center - Bringing City Hall to You!

The Action Center is a place for citizens, businesses, organizations and visitors to send questions, compliments, complaints and service requests directly to City Staff.


Modesto Image Survey

A group of community members is setting out to improve the image of Modesto. As a part of that process, they want to better understand people’s perceptions of the community and what the community’s perceived strengths and weaknesses are. The survey will be utilized by this group of community members, partnering with local business and public sector leaders, to reshape the image and perceptions of Modesto in the future.
